Lunch Specials

We know that most of our customers don't have long for lunch, for this reason we offer lunch items we can produce quickly while offering the same quality ingredients and delicious Texas and Mexico flavor.

Below is a sampling of our specials.  They're quick, they won't empty your wallet, they'll get you through the rest of your work day and most importantly, they taste great.

Monday - Friday Specials are $8.25 | Sunday Special is $8.75

Monday

Guiso
Stew meat simmered in a seasoned sauce, served with beans, rice, flour tortillas and salad.

Beef Tips
Served with mashed potatoes, vegetables, rice and a salad.

Chile Relleno
Mexican pepper filled with beef, fried in an egg, topped with Spanish sauce and cheese.  Served with beans, rice and salad.


Tuesday

John Ross Special
Beef taco, cheese enchilada, beans and rice.

Izabella Special
8oz. pork chop served with Spanish rice and borracho beans.


Wednesday

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Salad
Bacon-wrapped chicken stuffed with jalapenos and jack cheese, served in a taco shell with lettuce, tomatoes and avocado slices.

Taco Salad
Choice of taco meat or shredded cheese served in a tortilla taco bowl holding a bed of crisp lettuce, tomatoes, avocado slices, cheddar cheese and your favorite dressing.

Mid-Towner
Chicken breast topped with chili con queso with beans, rice, flour tortillas and salad.



Thursday

Chicken a La Mexicana
Grilled chicken breast, sliced and cooked with jalapenos, tomatoes and onions.  Served with beans, rice, flour tortillas.

Beef Enchiladas
Served with beans, rice, your favorite sauce and a choice of cole slaw or salad.

Chicken Fried Steak
A 4oz. beef cutlet dipped in our own special rub and covered with our homemade cream graby.  Served with mashed potatoes, vegetables and salad.

Green Chicken Enchiladas
Chicken enchiladas topped with our green tomatillo sauce, cheese, rice and beans.


Friday

Olivia Special
Two cheese enchiladas, beans, rice, salad and chili con queso.

Fried Catfish
6oz. filet, breaded in our own blend of cornmeal and spices, then deep fried.   Served with tartar sauce, French fries and salad.

Fish Tacos
Each has a strip of fish filet battered and deep-fried, then placed in soft corn tortillas with guacamole, cabbage and pico de gallo.


Sunday

Turkey and Dressing*
Served with all the trimmings including mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, salad and tea.
